  6. Spheric   is   a   spherical  geometry   calculator   for   the 
  7. HP95/100/200LX palmtop computers and for PC-DOS clones,  useful 
  8. in navigation,  geography and astronomy,  written and copyright 
  9. (C) 1993-95 by J.A. Wrotniak.
  10.  
  11. The  program  comes in two separate versions:  one for  the  HP 
  12. palmtop and one for "regular" PC-DOS machines.
  13.  
  14. Spheric is shareware;  the details of registration and  further 
  15. distribution  are  given  in the  enclosed  documentation  file 
  16. SPH.DOC.

  21. The  following files should have been enclosed in the  set  you 
  22. have received:

  26. * SPH.EXE - the program itself

  30. * SPH.ERR - run-time error messages

  32. * US.FIX - a data file with 30 major US cities
  33.  
  34. * WD.FIX - a data file with 30 major cities of the world
  35.  
  36. * SPH.DOC - the user manual.

  38. * SPH_HP.DOC - the HP Palmtop addendum (if applicable)

  40. * WHATS.NEW - a list of recent changes

  42. Registered copies of Spheric contain two additional files:

  44. *  USA.FIX,  WRD.FIX - fix files,  defining locations of  major 
  45. cities (United States and the world).

  48. PRINTING THE DOCUMENTATION
  49.  
  50. The .DOC files are in the ASCII format with hard returns  after 
  51. each  line,  and  64 characters wide.  They can  be  viewed  or 
  52. printed directly from any desktop computer.

  54. For a printout,  switch your printer,if possible, to the PC-850 
  55. character set (this can be done on the HP printers),  otherwise 
  56. some of the special characters may not print right.

  59. QUICK START
  60.  
  61. Copy SPH.PRG,  SPH.HLP,  SPH.ERR and .FIX files (if any) to the 
  62. same directory on your HP95/100/200LX or on the PC-DOS clone.
  63.  
  64. While in that directory, run the program by typing SPH. (On the 
  65. HP  palmtop  you  may also run Ex from the Filer  or  from  the 
  66. Application Manager.)

  68. Once running,  F1 will bring the on-line help,  F10 will  exit.
